My daughter and I with 3 kids rented camper on lot 68 for 2 nights. Very disappointed!!! Camper vents on the floor had food in them.Bathroom was dirty had to clean before letting grandkids use it.The bunk beds only had a egg.crate instead of mattresses.Alot of mold on the awning NOT HEALTHLY!! The place charges why to much for the condition of the camper!!! We payed $112 !!! Think before you stay here inless you bring cleaning supplies with you!!!!
We had a 2 night minimum stay in a cabin which was filthy. Nothing more gross than a filthy toilet. The worst though was the so called bed mattress. Unless you are used to sleeping directly on the floor, don't stay here. We were awake all night. The woman in the cabinet next to us slept in the Adirondack chair instead. I became very sick plus could not possibly stand sleeping there another night. The owner would not reimburse the second night despite the circumstances. I also experienced a conversation in which the owner was extremely rude for no reason at all. Absolutely not a way to treat seasonals or anyone! And the place wasn't cheap!
For starters the pool was a deep green algae ridden cess pool. My kids badgered me to go in and we were assured that it was safe...when my daughter couldn't see her goggles on the floor of the shallow end I had to call it quits! The bathrooms had mushrooms in the shower stall, I showed a worker there and they basically shruged it off. They were there all weekend! The owners there were very rude. During the "family" candy bar bingo the adults running it were intoxicated. The "beach" is about 20' of sand with weeds and boats on either side...can you say low voltage electrocution!! That's if you are able to cross the state highway in one piece...yes you have to cross a road with a 50mph speed limit to swim/fish. This place is great!....if you are on the run, looking to use your RV breaking bad style, or a bunch of High School kids looking to stay off of the radar and get drunk ( we had a group of 20 teenagers next to us on our last night). Don't be mislead be pics of people fishing..I love to fish and there was none to be had here. Good luck!
Nice quiet campground. Lots of wooded sites. Very tidy and clean. Clean restroom. Will definitely be coming back.
We camp this campground EVERY year. Great place, lots of activities planned.
